The Austrian Business Plan Award takes place each year in order to select the best & innovative business ideas in Austria. 130 teams participated in 2006, this was more than double the amount in comparison to 2005. 130 business ideas were handed in and important Austrian politicians, economists and scientists honoured the 13 best teams in June 2006. The event took place at the Union of Industries in Vienna where 5 of the winner teams received a price within the categories “commerce, trade and services”, “innovation and technology” as well as three winner teams that were chosen in the category “students”. The competition in business is rising and the number of competitors is increasing and this fact influenced the good quality of the plans. The teams were not only awarded for their work but could also gain valuable support and feedback for their business plan implementation.
The furniture system Lex7 was placed third in the category of “commerce, trade and services”. This system can be perfectly used for shelving and storage spaces. People can easily create their preferred type of shelve. Further it can be modified, amended or amplified.
